Dear Tractor Enthusiast, Our club promotes the preservation of antique and classic tractors, manufactured 1960 and earlier, in factory stock condition. We promote our club’s shows and pulls with an emphasis on having fun with friendly competition and a big emphasis on safety. We have a banquet in November of each year and give Master Puller Awards to the top accumulated point winners during the season. Our member’s tractors include everything from an “A” model Farmall to a “Z” model Minneapolis-Moline and from the tiny Allis-Chalmers model “G” to the massive John Deere model “R”. Some tractors look as if they came straight off the show room floor, some look as if they came straight from plowing the back forty, and some look as though they were pulled out of the north pasture’s fence row where they had been parked for decades. In other words, if you have a tractor that is manufactured 1960 and earlier, in any condition, as long as it is factory stock and mechanically safe, you are a candidate for our club. Our club is Member Branch #120 of the Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Association. EDGE & TA is a national association, which provides each member with $2,000,000 in liability insurance while traveling to, from, and during an event. Attached are copies of our Show & Pull Schedule, Safety & Technical Rules, Classes & Tire Sizes, Master Puller Points System and Membership Application. If you have any question concerning our club, locating parts for your tractor or locating a tractor for sale, don’t hesitate asking or calling me or any of the other Officers or Directors. We all like to talk old “tractor talk” and have hunted those hard-to-find parts and have knowledge on where to look. (Text borrowed from Gary Kent's welcome letter) |
